Shanghai Family photography
Maybe you’re visiting Shanghai together.
Maybe Shanghai is where your kids are growing up.
Maybe it’s been home for years, and now it’s time to say goodbye.
Whatever brought your family here, this city holds a story that is uniquely yours.
I’m here to capture the little moments that made your time in Shanghai special — so years from now, when you look back at these photos, they can bring you right back to how it felt to be here together.
FAMILY STORIES AROUND SHANGHAI
Where to take family photos in Shanghai
01.
Old Shanghai Lanes

If you’re looking for something that feels a little more Chinese, a little more local, and very Shanghai, this is one of my favorite places to photograph.
The classic old Shanghai lanes are full of the kind of architecture and everyday charm that once shaped local life here. They’re also usually much quieter than the city’s more touristy landmarks, giving kids more space to wander, run around, and simply be themselves.
For families hoping to take home a little piece of classic Shanghai, I’d highly recommend it.

Parks

Parks are perfect for families who want to keep things easy and natural. There’s room for the kids to run, play, explore, and simply be themselves — while I follow along and capture the little moments in between. Less posing, more playing, laughing, cuddling, and enjoying some time together outdoors.

Beyond the locations above, I also offer in-home sessions and am always happy to explore other locations or ideas that feel more personal to your family. Every session can be tailored to what you need, so if you have something different in mind, feel free to reach out — we can figure out what feels right together.
